Coming Soon: A Fan Art Newsletter

Although it’s been in development for over a month now, I’ve only just found out about it (sorry - I don’t visit Fan Art too often). That’s right, it’s a Fan Art newsletter. Initially tabled by Gaishe, the idea was given overwhelming support in a poll (with over 3/4s of people favour of the idea).

The idea has also garnered support from the more prominent members of the forum including aKanobi, Venom and Luncatic High. The three of whom showed an interesting in providing content but also voiced concerns for time restraint on their part.

The publication, due to be released on a monthly basis, will see interviews with those related to the forum’s artistic community and goings-on around that area of the board with overviews of the various ’sections’ of Fan Art, new pieces of work, tutorials (I imagine), etc.

Gaishe is also hunting for ideas for features, writers, and topics/subjects that could be discussed and urges all those with an idea to PM him or add him to his Windows Live (MSN) Buddy List.
